First access

Welcome. This guide is for you, the technical user who wants to provision infrastructure as soon as possible.

What you can do​

Inside the Virtual Datacenter (VDC) provisioned for you, you can:

  • Create and manage Virtual Machines (VMs)
  • Configure networks, subnets, routers, and public IPs
  • Create VPNs to connect environments
  • Manage disks and backups
  • Store objects with S3-compatible Object Storage
note

The VDC itself is created by your provider (the tenant). You work inside it.

Where to start​

Follow this sequence to get your first infrastructure running:

  1. Understand what a VDC is: the environment that organizes everything
  2. Create your first VM
  3. Access the VM via console
  4. Configure basic networking
  5. Add a public IP
